Having graduated from Humboldt State University in 2001 with a double major in Art History and Art Education, I find myself today happily dedicated to my career as a High School Art Teacher.
Beyond teaching Art I am a consummate creator with a passion for diverse traditional aesthetics. Many of the things I make are inspired by my travels, the traditional arts that I collect, the Chinese and Japanese films I watch, and the many different historical and biographical books that I read.
I adore the natural world and traditional cultures that have evolved over centuries.
My favorite season is Fall. I adore trees, paths, acorns, long walks and fallen leaves.
All of the little forest creatures give me and by beloved dog great joy.
Aside from loving the scarves, tights and sweaters of Fall I delight in knowing snows will hopefully be coming soon…
