As near as I can tell, I come from a long line of women who couldn't tell the difference between a lost earring and Lassie. The philosophy seemed to be 'If we keep the remaining piece long enough, the lost one will come home.'

Can you think of a more plausible reason that I ended up with a truly monumental collection of single earrings?

The idea of these vintage beauties languishing away in a bottom drawer depresses me. So does the thought of Grandma's ornate but pin-less brooches, and the few remaining beads from Great-Grandma's necklace, ending up in a yard sale (or worse, a land fill).

Humbly I have taken it upon myself to re-purpose these and all other forgotten and/or unloved pieces into new and wearable. Call it my small contribution to recycling…

That the pieces I make happen to be beautiful, innovative, durable and simply fun to wear is only by design. I'll stand behind each one as long as I have breath.
