About

Psst! Come closer—I have a secret to admit. You see, I have a ribbon addiction. Yes, I admit it—I cannot pass by beautiful ribbon without buying some. Over the years, I've acquired quite a stash of fine and European ribbons. One day, while looking for ways to use some of my ribbons, I began making hair clips for my daughter. They were an instant success with her and our friends and family, so I kept at it. Eventually, I began trying designs that I could wear, and this led me to my current passion—beautiful handmade fabric flowers (or "blooms," as I like to call them).

Every bloom I make is meticulously hand-crafted—from cutting and shaping the "petals" to the selection of just the right center embellishment. Hours are often spent working on just one flower, where I agonize over the placement of each and every petal to ensure the loveliest of blooms.

I am also the lucky mom of a beautiful and sassy kiddo who keeps my husband and me laughing constantly with her antics and jokes. We recently transplanted from the bustling city of Seattle out to "the country," where we reside on forested acreage we share with all kinds of wildlife, including coyote, numerous deer, and an amazing variety of birds (must admit—I'm not too fond of that loud woodpecker who starts his morning at 5 am sharp). My backyard provides me with constant creative inspiration!

Of course, now that I live hours away from the city, it's not as easy to sate my desire for new and couture ribbon and fabrics. All I can say is—thank goodness for internet shopping! ;)

Warm regards,
Stacie
