I believe in the incredible healing properties of movement. Dance and exercise allows one to connect with one's mind and body, releases endorphins, increases fitness, and improves self confidence. My personal journey through dance was all that and more, and I want to share my passion with the world!
I discovered belly dance first and immediately fell in love with it! I found it to be both earthy and ornate, and loved all the intricate movements that were possible. Suddenly I was more tuned into my own body than I had ever been before and really came to appreciate my physical self so much more.
