About

In my other life, I do freelance graphic design and am a nail technician/educator. By incorporating ‘small detail’ techniques used in both fields — a fun, new form of wearable art is born.

I've always loved to turn objects from what they were, into something else.
I seemed to have transferred that knack to creating tiny worlds as I think our bigger world should be. They are filled with our favorite colors, creatures and all things pretty. There is no stress, dissention or cruelty. Just bowls of colorful things we love, including some with the fantasy beings we once believed in. Our pocket passions.

I've found jewelry to be the ultimate challenge. There are so many skills to learn and ideas to try. Every new technique I learn, I try to apply to a spoon or a fork. Haven't graduated to knives yet. All of this has been quite a learning curve…

I've found jewelry to be the ultimate challenge. There are so many skills to learn and ideas to try. Every new technique I learn, I try to apply to a spoon or a fork. Haven't graduated to knives yet. All of this has been quite a learning curve. At times I wish I'd developed a passion for something easier to master and mold — like plastic.

The other downside is that I don't get invited to dinner much anymore. If I do, they count the silverware before I leave :)

I appreciate you being here, and I look forward to your thoughts. If you have new ideas you'd like to see, or even constructive critism, let me know. I'm always looking for new worlds to build, and some of the best ideas have come from my customers.

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Marianne
