Britt Taylor's Profile
It all started with a few simple Stars and Robots. I got out the trusty sewing machine, attacked a pile of Goodwill clothes and came up with a little stuffed robot for my baby boy. He is now 2 1/2 and has slept with it every single night. Some of my friends liked it, so I made some for them. Then I sold some at my band's cd release party, and they were a big hit with the adult crowd too.
I made some stars with big giant lips and eyes and those were a hit. I saw an ad for a craft fair and went full tilt boogie pumping out 60 robots, 40 stars, and some miscellaneous t-shirts, postcards and it was a blast. The rest went up on etsy and that's how I got started.
I have since gotten into doing custom work, mainly t-shirts, tanks, and plushies to fit any occasion. I've done birthday shirts, Yo Gabba wear, I am branching out into more and more wearable things, hopeful…
