James Steidle's Profile

About

I make these things in a small woodshop studio in Vancouver. I try to use wood I find for the most part and when I can. Careful thought is put into the design and consideration of wood movement in all my products to ensure longevity, usefulness, and enjoyment. My finishes are handmade and is either shellac I make with pure alcohol and shellac flakes, or mineral oil and beeswax made from food grade mineral oil and organic beeswax I render myself.
