About

I am a maker. No, make that “I am a MAKER”! To the point where my husband will say to me, “you know they sell that ready-made at the store….wouldn’t that make your life easier”? Lol, no thank you.

I have a degree in business, but knew in my heart that one day, when I was ready to attempt my own small business it would need to be something creative. I wanted to make something that I could package, market and ship all by myself. I’ve read and collected stories of such businesses for many years, hoping I’d one day have my own light bulb moment.

Because I grew up in a family of very talented artists, I was always surrounded by creative ideas…not to mention art supplies, art shows, galleries, museums and road trips to the art supply, craft and fabric stores! I’ve always been drawn to fabrics, trims, paper, and paint…

I’ve always been drawn to fabrics, trims, paper, and paint. And to combine another love—quotes, meaningful collections of words—and typography seemed the perfect accompaniment. What started out as an idea for a house-warming gift for one of my cousins took shape and I felt like I could be on to something. I loved the way the coaster set turned out, and so did my cousin and her friends. I finally had my light bulb moment!

In my spare time you will find me gardening, cooking, decorating our new home, or just hanging out with my husband and dogs.

Aside from what I sell in my shop, I also love to create collage with the paper scraps and one day hope to expand my shop to include these pieces. I love to mix modern and vintage. Industrial and shabby chic. Sleek and imperfect. The contrasts make for an interesting visual experience!

I do offer wholesale. If you are a retailer that would like to carry my line, who is not yet a member of Etsy Wholesale please send me a message and I can provide you with a guest pass.

Thanks for looking!

I also sell my art through The Collage Cafe in Evanston, IL, Peoples Market in Wheat Ridge, CO and Shill, Norway.
