I spent many years of my childhood growing up near a pond, cradled in it is rich ecosystem. Its luminous fireflies and shimmering kingfishers still glow in the landscape of my mind. My work is influenced by rich ecosystems and it derives inspiration from the rich environments where humans, plants, animals and birds warp and weft into each other, weaving intricate tapestries, none separated from the other. Through my creative process, I also explore and try to understand the complex nature of migrations and displacements, including my own.

My pottery is hand formed, hand drawn and food- safe. Clay (earth) contains in it the wisdom of time. It is the alchemist that sprouts spring from hard shelled seeds, nurturing from them into lush forests. It cradles in its veins the life giving water and it nourishes all life with its bounties.
