I'm a California Central Valley girl with a Masters in Geology. My thesis was about volcanic rocks in Idaho but Idaho is a wonderful place for rocks in general. My geologic background gives me a unique perspective of chemistry, gemstones and jewelry. I love creating jewelry and, at the same time, I can appreciate the geology of the rock types involved. I also do a Japanese style of dyeing called shibori - watch for my hand dyed norens, silk scarves, Kona cottons and other art!
A way to combine all my passions: Vintage silk, thrift shop finds, bright colors and textures. I love working with fabrics: handbags and clutches, hats, table runners and toppers.
