Hello! Thank you for stopping by my little rag works shop. Sunflower Rag Works now has a face book page! Become a fan to receive the latest updates and happenings here. You can find my face book page at: https://www.facebook.com/SunflowerRagWorks

Sewing and crafting have been a joy in my life for as long as I can remember. I have been known to spend an entire day in a fabric store touching and imagining projects. When my “slight” fabric addiction became unmanageable, I decided to try my hand at selling my handmade quilts and crafts. I have been selling my items online for over 15 years, and also sell many bits and pieces in a local consignment store.

About My Work~
I use fabrics of all textures and colors in my creations to create soft and raggedy things. I especially love to work with chenille, minkie, soft flannels and pretty cotton quilt fabrics.

I have to say baby quilts are my favorite to make, but I also enjoy the challenge of constructing a special, unusual larger quilt when I find an inspiration.

My number one priority is pride in the craftsmanship of my items. I make every effort to make my quilts with the same love and care I would take if they were for my own children or grandchildren.

All of my ragged items are washed (delicate cycle) and tumble dried before I take my photos to start the ragging process. I get so excited when I pull a newly finished item out of the dryer to see the magic of the ragging on my work. I hope you will find a little magic here too.
