So apparently people actually read these profiles so I guess I should fill mine out properly. It has also been suggested in the Etsy forums that discussing your creative process is important to some buyers, so I'll get into that as well.

But first, here's a little bit about me:

My nam …e is Sunny Crittenden (obviously) and I live in a wee village called Elmvale in Ontario, Canada, population 1700. I've been married for 14 years to the most wonderful, patient, supportive, feminist man on the entire planet and together we have two children, Madison (18) and Wes (13). We are also responsible for our two dogs, Hoover and Lucky, both of whom were rescued.

This may be TMI but something to know about me is that I'm as open a book as possible and I'm a compulsive over-sharer. With that in mind, I have bipolar I disorder as well as generalized anxiety and agoraphobia which means I don't leave my house very often, although that's getting better, and I haven't gone anywhere by myself in about 10 years. (My husband mails all of my paintings for me.)

As far as my creative process...

Each painting takes me approximately two weeks to create from beginning to end and I usually only work on one painting at a time, or two if I'm feeling especially productive.

It's very very rare that I paint the same thing twice because after I've painted something, I get bored with the image, although I've been known to do commissions which are similar to one of my originals and sometimes I do mini (8x8 inch) versions of my full-sized 12x12 inch paintings.
