Sue Rasberry's Profile

About

I love anything vintage. I like finding vintage linens and repurposing them into something beautiful and useful. I have a great appreciation for all things quilted and beautiful textiles. Thrifting, going to estate sales, sewing, embroidery and quilting are some of my passions and I combine all of them to express my creativity.
Cecil and Alice were my maternal grandparents. Alice sewed for our family and I remember watching her sew and being fascinated that she could take fabric and thread and needles and other bits and bobs and make us beautiful clothes and quilts. Her mother, Minnie, is the first person to teach me to embroider and crochet. I believe these ladies sparked my creativity that sustains me to this day.
