“I cannot live without books.”—Thomas Jefferson

I have been surrounded by books my whole life, and enjoy creating my bookmarks for everyone that still loves to read books that are printed on paper.

I'm a SAHM to two wonderful (if sometimes nutty) kids. My son has Asperger's Syndrome (an Autism Spectrum disorder), and he is one of the most awesome, talented, brilliant people I know. My daughter is always entertaining everyone; her sheer joy of life makes me laugh, and her creativity amazes me.

I've been doing crafts in one form or another all my life. My mother taught me to sew at a very early age. I started quilting over 10 years ago. (Has it been that long?) Haven't completed much, but I love doing it when I have the time. I also enjoy sewing my kids' Halloween costumes every…

I also enjoy sewing my kids' Halloween costumes every year.

Recently I've gotten into beading and creating beaded bookmarks and phone charms. For now, that's my focus. As the kids get a little older, and I have more time (yeah, right!), I may branch out into something else or get back to the quilting I love. That's why I've decided to call my Etsy shop "Suzie's Armoire," so that I don't pigeonhole myself with a name. :) Plus, I've got a ton of stuff in my craft closet!

Thanks for looking!
