About

** Welcome!

My name is Sarah, I am a 20-something single mama. I live in Smalltown, USA. I have always enjoyed creating and am often asked why don't I share my creations? So, for the freedom of my soul, I am.

I adore beautiful feminine things (what girl doesn't?), and it really makes me smile to see my 6-year-old daughter enjoy them as well. I am a perfectionist when it comes to things I create because they represents a little piece of myself. I really strive for quality in my creations; from the surgical steel earring posts to only the most soft and luxurious yarns. I craft my pieces meticulously so that you can rest assured in the quality of my work.

** A little background

I come from a crafty family. I don't remember a day of my childhood that my mother wasn't sewing something. I remember going to craft shows where she would show off her quilts. My aunt makes beautiful wire wrap jewelry with gorgeous natural gem pieces and the like. My two cousins have similar hobbies of jewelry making, one of them even makes chainmaille from time to time!

I am self taught in many things because I learn best by doing. At the age of nine I learned crochet from a neighbors grandmother but it wasn't until about 14 that I really took the time to sit down and teach myself the different stitches. During high school I took sewing classes and adored them. Toward the end of high school, I decided to take on knitting as well and fell in love. I also picked up some jewelry making. I guess you could call me a Jill-of-all-trades.

I love having a collection of one of a kind things and I hope that my creations can help you build your own unique collection of treasures.
