I am a active and admitted Junk collector. I hoard many things for my creative passions that include refurnishing furniture, mosasic work, painting and sewing. I have always been interested in changing some aspect of my clothes to fit my personality. This began long ago while in high school when I would use pattern pieces from several different patterns to create a dress or coat with the sleeves, bodice or neckline that I liked best. I have been roaming vintage clothing and thrift shops since Nixon was in office--YIKES. So it is no wonder that I have formed my new shop on Esty, TRANsFUSION. I love the new Trashion movement, the magazine Altered Couture and those funky challenges on Project Runway where they make clothes from non-fabrics. I like to take old, tired, ripped and torn clothes and Transfuse new live into them. Why the medical metaphor---because I'm a nurse.
