I love vintage! Maybe because the vintage pieces that last are often the ones that are made really well. And a well-made anything is delightful to see, to touch, and to wear. And I believe that older pieces come from a time period when good design (the pleasing-to-the-eye result of a piece's shape and proportions) was valued and more readily understood. And vintage creates more possibilities for self-expression. With no restrictions of decade, we can say "THIS is who I choose to be today!"
I can often be found researching colonial architecture, New England minerals, and good design.
