Cyndy Salisbury's Profile

About

I began making masks in early 2007, exploring the traditional techniques and materials used by the Italians.

These wearable paper mache masks start with a "face" sculpted in terra cotta that is used to create a plaster cast. The cast becomes the form for the paper mache. I'm also casting the faces of friends and family, which allows me to create "portrait" masks.

Please take a minute to read Shop Policies before purchasing a mask.
