Stemming from my rich creative experiences and combined by my passion for home, flowers, fabrics and fashion, the Blooming South was created.
My artistic career began with designing dinnerware; finding inspiration for my elegant-casual designs through nature. I have been featured in magazines such as Southern Lady and Better Homes & Gardens: Decorating Issue. I went on to watercolors and oil paintings, showing my work in Historic Charleston. Landscapes and flowers are my favorites to paint.
When I am not working on The Blooming South, you can find me at my other shop Grace Dunbar. Stop by www.etsy.com/GraceDunbar for your bridal & cocktail headpieces, fascinators, headbands and hats.
I am also blessed to be a mom to three grown daughters and three precious grandsons…
