Kellie's Profile

About

My name is Kellie and I feel blessed to say that I am a stay-at-home mother of two boys, one 5 and the other 2 year old. Being at home isn't an easy job, and quite frankly, it wears me out...really! I can say that I would not be able to do what I do if it weren't for the grace and faithfulness of God. Having said that, I feel like God has wired me with creative tendencies and those I tap into mostly after hours (well, when the boys have gone to bed). I have been making jewelry for about 7 years and I began making decorative throw pillows a year ago or so. I pretty much started making pillows because I really enjoy decorating (and I've been told that I have a flare for that too), and I thought it would be easy and simple to change things up a bit around the house by making my own pillows. Well, I quickly found out it doesn't happen quickly (because I am a perfectionist) and it isn't cheap:) Anyway, my hobbies began so as to benefit myself (making jewelry to accessorize my outfits or for special occasions), then I began making things for others as gifts. I have been a buyer on Etsy for sometime (under the username "sojisnyder"), but now, I feel impelled to try to share my enjoyment and God-given skills of creating with a vast array of people in the Etsy community. I have also been blessed to have the opportunity to sell some of my jewelry items at a local clothing boutique called House of Bluez here in Evansville. It makes me excited thinking about bringing a smile to someone's face knowing that I made something that they liked:)

I am currently a proud member of the following Etsy teams: IN Crowd Team, C.A.S.T. Team, CAPS Team, Team CAC, Haute Mamas, and Team A.C.M.E.
