Founded in 2011 by Isa Wang and Vincent Frano, The Bower Studio began as an experimental creative endeavor. The studio is named after the bowerbird, an Australian bird known for its beautiful nests that it decorates with colorful found objects such as feathers, shells, and berries. Combining Isa’s background in design and Vincent’s training as an herbalist the two artists sought to create functional artwork that encourages environmental stewardship.
The studio has since expanded into a flagship retail store and herbal apothecary in Western Massachusetts. We strive to highlight the diversity of American flora and fauna with educational products that use environmentally friendly materials. Our stationery and accessories are made by hand in the studio. We hope that our products bring the beauty of the natural world into your home!
