About

This shop was started in honor of my nephew Joey. Joey is now 12 years old and was diagnosed with Juvenile diabetes when he was 8 years old.

Joey is the epitome of what every young man would want to be; he is kind, wise, athletic, adorable, smart, charming and most of all brave. Joey must endure countless blood tests, doctors appointments and now wears a pump to help regulate his insulin.

For a child to be hindered with juvenile diabetes is tragic and I wanted to find a way to help raise awareness and to help fund the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) so he and all other children living with juvenile diabetes can one day live a life free of this disease.

The pockets sold on this site were the brainchild of Joey's mother (my sister), so that her son, and other kids affected with diabetes would have a way to carry their insulin pumps without the embarrassment of using a fanny pack or belt clip. Turns out that other kids and adults have found it useful for holding MP3s, cell phones, money, ID cards, keys, etc..

Please take a look and even if you do not wish to purchase my products if you would consider making a donation to the JDRF your kindness would be greatly appreciated.
