From Star Wars to Star Trek, Doctor Who to Doctor Strange, fandom is my life. The question I was (mostly) not asking was how to turn that into fun crafts.

Fairly recently a dear friend of mine lost his mother. It was a near perfect scenario, in that she lived a long and fulfilling life, and was able to say a loving goodbye to her whole family. I still felt for him and wanted to do something for him. I'm not sure what sparked the idea, as I had never made a mobile before, but I decided to make an origami crane mobile for him.

One evening the boyfriend and I were talking about it and he suggested I make one out of comic book pages. A light bulb exploded in my head! I love origami as a relaxing pastime, but using comic books made them more unique and fitting to my personality.
