This is the story of how I got a shop on Etsy. BTW, my shop name is a combo for my love of ladybugs and my sweet dogs, my 2 Love Bugs, cheesy I know but it does make me smile!

Well here I go...I love my photo albums and ALL the pictures in them, so I decided to really step it up and started scrapbooking. But it wasn't till I was recovering from surgery years ago that things just started to branch out! Since I couldn't get out and about on my own, I had to get creative with the details for my scrapbook pages. One of the things I started doing was taking apart silk flowers (I had hiding in the closets for "one of those projects" that I just never got around to making!), I added some accents to the petals and made some pretty great one-of-a-kind scrapbook details!

Well, that was the gateway to card making, after all, I did have bins full of all…

Well, that was the gateway to card making, after all, I did have bins full of all sorts of goodies that I used for scrapbooking...so why not, right?!? What used to fit in a couple of storage bin has now taken over my basement with shelves and shelves of my treasures. Anyway, I really love making things out of paper and especially cards since each one always comes out just a little bit different than the one before so no two are ever exactly alike!

As for jewelry making, I owe my dear Aunt Cecilia for getting me hooked when she showed me her lovely creations!! I could have learned SO much from her but since we live oceans apart, I have to learn what I can through the internet (YouTube is amazing!) and get my supplies when and where I can. I try to find the best beads and findings that I can and really try to turn them into something beautiful.

Recently, I have tried my hand at crocheting. I really needed a hobby that didn't require sitting at a craft table and that I can take with me during those long waits at the doctor's office. I have fallen in love with yet another hobby! I am hoping to have enough faith in myself and create items for you...that may be awhile though.

I have given dozens of my creations - cards, hair flowers/pins, earrings, bracelets and necklaces - as gifts and fundraising donations and with all the positive feedback I have received over the years, I decided to join Etsy and share my creations with the Etsy Community!!

I find my inspiration in anything and everything around me. I love when creativity just flows…what may have been inspired by flipping through a magazine, was sketched out as a card design but then the final creation ends up being a beautiful bracelet!! Just never know when, where or how that creative bug will bite :) I sincerely put a lot of care & love and take great pride in every single item that I create and hope that you find something to make you just as happy and smile!
