About

Well, Hi! I'm Scarlet. I guess I should give you a brief run-down of what I'm all about. =)

I love helping others. Whether it be making something for someone, or doing something for someone. I just love the euphoric feeling of helping people. It is the most rewarding and refreshing feeling on this earth knowing that you didn't just do something or make something for someone, but that you made them FEEL something. Knowing that by the work of your own two hands, you have given a complete stranger something to be excited about, feel great about and who knows - maybe even brag about. It's so amazing what your own two hands are capable of doing. They can bring smiles to peoples faces whom you've never met.

Personally, I don't know what's more fulfilling and humbling that knowing that you can make someone, whom you've never met, smile by doing something for them or making something for them. To me, that's my high. Knowing that maybe, just maybe I've made someone's day a little better, is all I need to keep going. The most rewarding things in life, I think anyway, are the things that we do for others and the lessons we learn from doing so. By doing one thing, one small thing for someone else, we are actually doing a world of things for everyone. My favorite new quote, and the truest words that I think have ever been spoken, that I want to live by are those by Erma Bombeck:
"When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'."
