About

My name is Erin. I have a passion for (addiction to?) horses and crafting, although they do not regularly overlap.

My horse, Kobe, was the inspiration for the name of my shop. Even though she was a registered American Paint Horse, she was neither "painted" nor anywhere near the size of a pony! Still.... very close to my heart, she was my "Painted Pony."

My creative side expresses itself mostly in fabric, paper or polymer clay - whichever is screaming to get out at any given moment. However, I am open to dabbling in other media if the mood strikes me.... (Can you hear the thunder rolling?)

Just because I am a perfectionist and a stickler for details doesn't mean that I won't occasionally throw in a dash of humor or whimsy! Feel free to "convo" me with your custom requests along my lines - we might…

What are RounToits, you ask?

They are quiet, yet extremely friendly, and they are there to gently remind you that something needs accomplished. They are RounToits. When you have a RounToit, you can no longer say “I don’t know…. Whenever I get around to it….” (For me, it was making things for my children!)

They don’t nag about what is supposed to be done, made, finished, accomplished, completed, prepared, and created or whatever. However, they are sure to make you smile with their lop-sidedness. After you adopt one of these little critters, you’ll wonder why you didn’t get around to it sooner! Of course, they do crave companionship, so never leave your RounToit by its lonesome.

Averaging about 8.5 inches tall and having a hand-foot print spanning roughly 9 inches wide, they are the perfect size to hang out on a cubicle desk for a smirk now and then. RounToits make perfect listeners for the child who is just learning to read – RounToits won’t criticize since they can’t read and can’t prove it to you even if they could. (They have a passion for Dr. Seuss, by the way.)

RounToits are for the young and the young at heart. However, RounToits are not intended for children who still put things in their mouth! Even though they have safety eyes, they have no defense of their own and would not appreciate being bitten.

All of the RounToits are of my original design and creation. Although similar to each other, each RounToit is an individual, unique in that my pattern is only a guideline in their creation, and no two ever turn out exactly alike. Their hand-feet pattern was made by the print of my daughter’s hand.
