A little bit about me…My name is Wendy . I am a mother, wife, grandmother, entrepreneur, seamstress, animal lover, educator, and dream maker. My husband and I have been married since 1973. We have three grown children and one granddaughter. Being the oldest of 6 children growing up, I learned the importance of family and the value of a dollar. My mother sewed for us. I learned how to sew as a teenager. When I had my own family, I sewed for them. My mother and I opened up our own sewing and alteration business in the late 80s. I worked in the corporate world for 5 years and hated every moment of it. I had to find another way to make money and not hate every day. I thought back to what I enjoyed in my younger years. Growing up, my sisters and I raised and showed collies. So, I decided to open up a doggie daycare business. I had a successful business for 10 years.

Right along the time I was ending the daycare, my granddaughter came into my life. I had been reading about cloth diapering and finally convinced my daughter to CD her daughter. I started sewing diapers for her, and I rediscovered a love I once had- sewing ! I started with Fattycake diapers, and also made wool soakers and pants. I made Ditto Daddy trainers as my granddaughter moved to potty learning. As my granddaughter grew, so did I. I moved on to making fashionable panties and clothing for her. I enjoyed seeing her react to the clothes I made for her.

I decided to take this love of sewing and return to a business I once enjoyed. The Pampered Tush was born! My goal is through great opportunities, like Etsy, to be able to provide adorable, quality clothing by using all natural fibers such as wool, bamboo, and cotton to the world.
