About

Piles of beads have always fascinated me. The colors... light and shadow....shimmer, glimmer, and sparkle.

So too am I drawn to painting....trying to emulate a cloud, a starry night, or a smile -- the things you just can't quite catch with a photograph.

When creating, I usually have a bird on my shoulder. I'm pretty sure they'll be able to help out around here one day.

I spend a lot of time making sure your jewelry and paintings won't just be fun for a few months, but will become a true family heirloom. I weave extra threads, or add extra jump rings or twist the wires more...add many coats of varnish to a finished painting.... all of the things you shouldn't have to ever think about, but ways to make it a sturdier piece. This means durability and long-lasting products for the owner, and perhaps their children and grandchildren.
