Rachel's Profile

About

Hello! My name is Rachel. In 2005, I was blessed enough to be received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. My Catholic faith truly is my defining trait. I have spent the vast majority of my free time studying theology and apologetics. I have a deep love for the richness of the faith. While I was still in college, I began working at a Catholic bookstore in the city. Years passed, I obtained my bachelor's in mathematics, and yet I am still working at that little Catholic bookstore. There is nothing I like better than being around wonderful, faith filled people and being able to evangelize and catechize about the faith.

At the Easter Vigil of 2006, my parents and my older sister also entered the Catholic Church. This was a wonderful occasion, and it has been such a blessing to be able to share this faith with them…

About

This was a wonderful occasion, and it has been such a blessing to be able to share this faith with them.

I have a growing devotion to the Saints and Our Lady as time goes on. My particular favorites are Saint Joseph (my confirmation saint), St. Raphael the Archangel, St. Michael the Archangel, St. Faustina, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Padre Pio, Bl. Mother Teresa, and St. John of the Cross. I really could go on to list many more wonderful saints that have deeply touched and inspired my life.

As an employee of this Catholic goods store, I slowly came to realize that there are many saints who have very little merchandise available for them. This is what initially inspired me to create this shop. I am dedicated to creating beautiful items that can spread or symbolize a devotion to a particular saint, even if they are not well known. I began with earrings, but I do hope to expand to include chaplets and holy cards as well.

I also have found that I am growing increasingly particular about Rosaries. I am surrounded by Rosaries on a daily basis at work (praise God!) and I was slowly inspired to seek unique beads and patterns. I have seen customer's difficulty in selecting a rosary that seems "just right' for their personality, which is why I have sought to provide unique patterns and bead styles here. I want to create something personal that a person can pray with.

My hope in everything I do is to honor and glorify God. I hope you enjoy visiting my shop. Thank you and God bless you.
