The Posh Event on Etsy was started as an accidental business. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law suggest for me to start a shop on Etsy with my sewing. I love sewing and designing for my daughter. Something that I particularly loved to make were felt hair clips. (you can see what I am talking about if you look at my past sales) This was going quite well. I then started school for graphic design and decided to design some gift tags for my gifts. I decided to put it up in my shop and they really started to take off. People started to ask me about printables for events which brought back a ton of memories. I married into a HUGE family my husband's father is one of six and his mother is one of NINETEEN! When it came to our wedding, my idea of a small intimate wedding went out of the window. The the budget that I had to plan a wedding with for 150 people now had to cover 350 people! I had to become VERY creative and a DIY queen! There were so many things that I wanted but just could not afford when it came to the little details and print work. So I had to do it myself. Since my wedding I have been to several weddings where brides also had to become DIY queens to stretch their budget. The more I thought about all of the events that I have over the years as well as family get-togethers the more printable ideas come to mind. I love the idea of being able to offer affordable design for everyone. Everyone deserves to be able to throw amazing events with the extra details without spending a fortune! So The Posh Event has now taken off with printable and print design. I am so happy and blessed with all of the business and support that I have received from this community. Sometimes being a mother, wife, full-time student, and business owner can get rather difficult. But it's amazing how this community really lifts me up.

So as you can tell, I can talk a lot! Bottom line is that I love what I do and I love helping others. I am always happy to hear your thoughts and ideas!

Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you!
Kindest Regards,
Brigitte
