About

Hello everyone. Just a little backround to give you an idea of who I am, where I'm from, and where I hope I'm going.

I attended High School in California during the "Hippy Era" and was fortunate enough to be able to take a creative art class in Jewelry Design and Manufacturing. Now this wasn't just your gramdma's beading class. It was offered by a wonderfully creative man that knew in every teen there was a creative Wild Child that needed to be liberated. What an absolute blast it was. He not only taught sheet and wire work, but also lost wax casting as well. My project for Graduation was a childs silver cup, that was to spec's from a certain company over the big pond.

It was a time of the Flower Child, Peace Signs and tinted sunglasses. On the radio played the Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, and everyone sang to Majic Carpet Ride, and Stairway to Heaven. Oh by the way do you remember Gary Wright and Dream Weaver?

During that one wonderful year I developed a love of combining melted Brass and Silver together in abstract shapes and forms with Bezel set Stones intermingled, and combining precious metals with beautiful enamels glazes. Oh and Silver Spoon and Fork Jewelry.

Over the years I worked in the "Traditional" jewelry industry, while at the same time developing my buiness skills working in the "Contruction and Interior Design" field. But always wanting a more creative, less structured environment to express myself.

Recently though, at the age of 52 I retired as a "Custom Cabinet Designer and Project Manager" for health reasons, and with the support and encouragement from my wonderful husband, family and friends, I decided to do what I have dreamed of for years, work from home developing my own jewelry line.

I was recently told by a friend that I was earthy, warm, and nurchuring which I never saw myself as. When I then giggled about it in a coversation with my sister she agreed and added that she felt I was also still very vulnerable and gentle.

Ok not very good qualities for a 52 year old savy business woman. Oh well what can I say.

So here it is, thank you for visiting my Shop/Gallery I hope that you enjoy it.
