Ron Taylor's Profile
I spent 31 years of my life working as a Hydrographer in the Sierras of California measuring snow in winter and water runoff in the summer. As a hobby, I “mastered” flint knapping at an early age and worked points into jewelry for several years. That led me to indulge in lapidary. I tried incorporating both into wire wrapped jewelry. I never quite felt satisfaction in my presentation until I met one of the finest hammered metal artists around and was fortunate enough to spend some time with him and learn all the basics. I now feel I’ve “mastered” the ultimate way to combine synergies of metal and stone to show natures awesome color presentations.
Welcome & Enjoy!
P.S.-My wife Carol is a beader and does some awesome work which I hope to persuade her to put some on the site in the near future. She makes up…
