I always tell people I was born 50 years too late and missed my calling to be Doris Day.

Instead, I had to settle for a childhood in the 80's comprised of The Match Game reruns and dusty Frank Sinatra LP's. I assumed everyone could recite Mr. Ed's theme song.

They couldn't.

Out of my love for this era sprung The Swift Tortoise - wall art comprised of popular phrases from the 50's; a time when life was simple and two quarters would get you a movie ticket.

No one could quite tap into the feelings of love like the great songwriters of the 50's & 60's. Most of our artwork was taken straight from the songs of Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra, among others.

It is our hope that the products of The Swift Tortoise will add a feeling of warmth to your home as you savor the timelessness of these words. You might even dust off an LP and do The Mashed Potato.
