When I was 18 when I moved from the
beautiful state of Ohio to the tropical
paradise, Honolulu, Hawaii. I began
working for a wholesale Jewelry
company, Honolulu Puka Shell Exchange.
After working in the shipping
department, I was promoted to the
design department where I jumped head
first into designing jewelry.
It soon became my passion. My designs
have been featured in several
department stores. Sears, JCPenny's and
Contempo Casuals of California.

With the help of QVC my boss created
a line that featured his name, Lee
Sands. Our company started a long
relationship with QVC that goes on to
this day.

Though I stopped working with Lee
when my first child was born. I
continued designing jewelry at home.
Several years later and two more
children, I decided to expand my
business as well, I have recently added a
line of jewelry boxes to my store.

As unique as my jewelry designs also
one of a kind styles.I start by drawing
the image I want on a wood jewelry
box, I then burn it in with a wood
burning tool, add a little color maybe
some crystal rhinestones and I'm
finished.

In my spare time when I have any,
besides taking care of my children I
enjoy my lanai garden, our birds, fish,
writing poetry and short stories.
Currently I am working on my first novel
that should be finished next year.
