About

Hi I am Janette, it is so wonderful to have you stop by my shop.
What I love best about old things is their character and energy, I can feel and imagine their stories. Someone loved them once, I still do and my delight is in giving them a chance at new life.
I hope you will find something to love among the treasures here, each piece is made with care and an eye to their own special beauty.
Bio:
I am an outdoorsy girl who is in my prime and adores sparkle and frills. I have always been in love with beads, rhinestones and just about any other adornment.
I believe that everything has beauty, you just have to find it. This belief is a driving force is my creative process. I don't think I have ever met a broken piece of jewelry I didn't want to save.
When I was in grade school I got my first "bead box"…

When I was in grade school I got my first "bead box". My Grandpa had come across an old dental x-ray file box with each compartment full of various beads and rhinestones. He gifted me with this on my Birthday and I was never the same! I spent countless hours sorting and gazing at my beautiful treasure box.
One of my favorite experiences was the summer I worked at a high end jewelry shop in Avalon on Catalina Island ,where I discovered "Tabra" earrings. I was fortunate enough to meet her and many other jewelry designers there. All the Tabra earrings I bought ? I blame the employee discount.
Most recently I had a little jewelry/antique shop here in Portland. The overhead was crazy, that is why Etsy makes so much sense to me so here I am.
Thank you for visiting and have a fabulous day.
