About

One of the most magical times I remember as a child was sneaking into my Grandma Thelma's room with my sister Melissa and my cousin Danielle. Going through her fancy jewelry and looking at all the beautiful clothes with lace and feathers seemed to hold a secret of experiences she once lived. We would play dress up, put on dance shows as our parents would scold us for going through Grandma's things all while displaying half a smile on their faces. Seeing my Grandma's face light up as we did this gave us an unspoken approval. It became a common theme for years to come and is something I never outgrew.

My experiences with my Grandma can be seen through out all my artwork. She loved to garden, was a prominent distributor of bird seed, had a zest for life and introduced me to different ways to be creative. My use of flowers, birds, bugs, feathers, jewels, lace, vintage and…

My use of flowers, birds, bugs, feathers, jewels, lace, vintage and clay buttons are used to add a bit of playfulness and childhood wonder to my pieces. Each piece is created individually and are one of a kind! I find inspiration in vintage clothing styles and have acquired a collection of clothing through the years that will be featured on my site.

During my elementary years, I lived in Oakfield, NY a small town outside of Batavia. After my father passed, we moved close to my mothers side of the family. Much to my approval because it was where my Grandma lived, to an even smaller town of Dundee, NY (nestled in-between Seneca and Keuka lake). I furthered my education at SUNY Brockport, with a Bachelors in Business and Marketing, with a minor in Art. Later, to go back for a second Bachelors degree in Art, specializing in Ceramics with a minor in Psychology. I currently live in Rochester, NY.

May you never out grow the magic of playing dress up!
