About

April fool's day 1985 was the beginning of what has turned into a life long passion. It all started with a little macrame' shop on the second floor of a strip mall. I taught classes at night, and sold at craft shows on the weekends.

I eventually closed the shop but continue to sell at craft shows all over Connecticut to this day. Hope you will visit my booth when you're in the area!

For those of you who aren't local to Connecticut, I'm making my accessories available here on etsy. Hope you will love what I make as much as I do!

My grandmother emmigrated to the US in 1913. Her name was listed as Tilla on the ship's manifest. She was a talented seamstress, and my first introduction to sewing.

My Aunt Lilly, also my Godmother, was my introduction to knitting, crocheting, and painting. She was a talented artist who loved to paint and knit. She was also a great opera singer.

Tillalili is pronounced .....Til - as in unTIL, la - as if you were singing "la la la la", and lili - as in the flower Easter Lily......Til la lili -- Tillalili!
