Ellen's Profile

About

My first memories of jewelry design were the clover blossom necklaces my older sister taught me to make when I was three. With a biologist father and artist mother, I was always a keen observer of the natural world, and thought I would become a medical illustrator. My career twisted and turned. A few years later I walked into a bead store and was captivated. Thus began Tiny Baubles--What a princess wears on her day off .

I find my inspiration in treasures from the earth and sea--unusual gemstones and pearls. Growing up in the South and a love of flower gardening have influenced my feminine, delicate style of jewelry. I make everyday pieces that can go from jeans to a little black dress effortlessly.
