In August of 2009 I sold almost all of my belongings and drove south to North Carolina. I had dug myself out of the murky pit that is graduate school, accepted my failures and looked to the only thing that had kept me sane- wool. I had my stash and my Lendrum; what else does a girl need?

Cut to 2012 and another move to Portland, OR. I restarted as a food service drone and lost about 4 years. At least it was pretty!

Now a somewhat reformed academic and a cynical pizza pro, I am trying to make a new home for myself in New Jersey. What better way than doing what I love? Creating yarns on my wheel and in the dyepot makes for a much better life than pipetting ever did and I'd like to share that with you.
