About

In August of 2009 I sold almost all of my belongings and drove south to North Carolina. I had dug myself out of the murky pit that is graduate school, accepted my failures and looked to the only thing that had kept me sane- wool. I had my stash and my Lendrum; what else does a girl need?

Now a somewhat reformed academic, I am trying to make a new home for myself in Durham. What better way than doing what I love? Creating yarns on my wheel and in the dyepot makes for a much better life than pipetting ever did and I'd like to share that with you.

I am committed to supporting my local community. Hopefully, soon I'll be able to start stocking this shop with yarns twisted from fibers that grew up munching on southern greens.
