TribalHippie's Profile

About

I started playing with beads and things back in 1970 as a small girl. My mom and her hippie-commune-mates supplied me with beads, nourished my childish whimsy and love of all things peaceful, playful and psychedelic.

As a teen, I preferred a strip of rawhide for a necklace rather than a gold or silver chain like most of my friends. At some point, I decided to start creating a variety of necklaces and earrings that were raw and wild enough for my tastes, and those barefoot-truckin' folks like myself. My style began to emerge.

Besides that, I doodle with ink, marker and paint quite a lot.

It's all in good fun ... More to come soon, such as reconstructed textiles for home and wear, dream catchers, personal products, clocks, lamps, and all kinds of other funky stuff - so stay tuned! Blog: www.tribalhippie.com…
