I came from a family of trained artist, and always felt I was missing the art gene. I spent my working career in federal gov't public service at the NIH. A few years ago I took an early retirement and that was one of the best decision I ever made. I enjoyed crocheting hats and scarves for the homeless, family and friends and coming up with my own patterns. I heard you could crochet and make jewelry with wire and started to develop my own unique outside of the box techniques by crocheting a necklace and then wire wrapping the beads into their own craddled settings. I created my pendants in a free style wrap with a large bail so it could be worn over my necklace or worn alone on your own chain, rope, etc.. I decided I could help homeless people more by sellng my jewelry and giving a percentage to charities that help people struggling from poverty or hardship.

I feel one of my missions in life is to inspire people to find their own God given talents and abilities. We all have them, but must listen carefully to our inner voice and follow our passions and dreams.

I am drawn to making decorative, low maintenance jewelry using natural materials coming from the earth and sea, which many people believe are full of the healing powers and positive energy of the earth.
