About

I love statement pieces, being bold and unexpected!
If my items can make your day better or make you smile then I've accomplished my goal.
I appreciate many different aesthetics, the wildest or simplest objects can catch my eye.

I spent quite a bit of my childhood antiquing with my parents and my mother has always sought after fabulous and unique pieces of jewelry and art. I remember whenever she got a new piece I would ask question after question about it.

One of my father's greatest joys is exploring off the beaten path places and looking for unusual things. It was a trait past down to him from my grandfather, who took great pride in his "Ohgads" which were found object sculptures that he would assemble somewhere in nature. At the beach these consisted of driftwood, shells, and sea glass, during a hike he would make one out of branches, flowers, rocks and moss. (He was featured in his local newspaper numerous times for making holiday related Ohgads on his front lawn...think leaf turkeys).

Scramble all that together add a love of decorating cakes, making jewelry, painting/sketching, reading, obnoxiously loud music, talking, my "rescued" pitbull (yes he's rescued but I like to think that actually he rescued me), and glitter/sparkles and you end up with some semblance of me.

I'd be more then happy to take custom requests or answer questions.
