During my travels and work on projects with the Tuareg people in South Algeria I fell in love with the jewelry made by the 'Inaden' the silversmiths tribe.
They work with geometrical patterns, earth designs, like the stars, sun, animals etc.
Tuareg people wear these jewels as amulets, talisman.
All jewelry I collected in the desert, so traditional pieces. I want to keep it that way because this is how i can help their culture to survive. Also all amulets have a meaning and for them powefull to protect them and bring luck. I don t want to mess with that ;-)
Some of them are antiques, I am happy to save them sometimes before they are melted and made into 'modern' jewelry.
