Hello and welcome to PinkPepperTree!

My name is Ruth and I am the person behind my little shop. I am originally from Germany but currently living in Sydney, Australia with my husband and our beautiful little girl.

I have travelled and lived in quite a few different countries over the last few years, which has taken me through a lot of different jobs including Paediatric Nursing, Childcare, Kiwi grading, fruit picking (You’ve got to try everything when you are on a Working Holiday in New Zealand- it was great fun! ;-)) Live-In Care Work, Nannying...but I love having my own creative business.

When I first started here on Etsy back in 2008 I was selling tea cup candles, gorgeous soy wax candles poured into Vintage tea cups. I thoroughly enjoyed making my candles but eventually I felt that it was time to move on and try something different. Which led to the big quest of what I was going to make next! I knew it had to be something that adds a little bit of beauty to peoples homes - I love making my own little rental house feel like home, where we can live, work and play. (Well, it is more like an apartment where we live at the moment but very cosy nevertheless:-) )

Sometimes I wonder why it didn't occur to me to take my photography to the next level and put my photos up for sale sooner! I have enjoyed photography for many years. It's a passion that my husband and I share and we often work on photos together. I am really excited about my photos and I hope you are too!

I am very passionate about environmental design which was a big part of making my tea cup candles. With the photography it is a little bit harder to be completely environmental. Unfortunately it is not possible for me at this point to print all my photos with soy inks for example, but I hope that is something I can encompass more into my prints in the near future. The paper I use to print the photos on is 30% recycled.

If you have any questions, thoughts, ideas or just want to chat please get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks for your interest in my profile, have a great time browsing Etsy!

Regards,

Ruth
