I will be taking a vacation/break for a short time. I will be reorganizing and preparing some new developments for my shop. Check back to see what's in store!

Hi and welcome to my Etsy shop! I am a grandma of three terrific grandchildren given to me by my only child and her husband.

I developed my love for sewing by watching my grandmother. She always had a project in the works. Many times, it was dresses for me and my sister.

My other grandmother crocheted. Each of us was given a hand crocheted blanket as gifts for our children, her great-grandchildren.

Eventually, I became a mom and made clothes and toys for my daughter. I took pride in being able to do for her what my grandmothers had done for me.

With little notice, I was able to make my daughter's wedding dress. Occasionally, I am approached to make things for other people. For example, I have made prom dresses and dresses for mothers of the bride. I was, also, hired to make Elvis' white jump suit for an impersonator.

My daughter had gone back to school and graduated in December 2010. She told me that when she was finished school, that she would help me to open my own shop and sell the things that I make. Well I guess this is it...it's my turn!

I've taken the advice of a good friend and created a label for my work. This label will be prominently displayed on my products. I've, also, decided to use it as my avatar.

The things that I've made over the years are as varied and interesting as the people I've made them for. When I share stories about those people and things, I am constantly being asked, "You Sew What?!"

Thanks for visiting!
