I'm a writer living in the deep, deep woods of North Carolina. I will soon have some interesting things to sell, including pillows covered with artist-designed fabric, handmade jewelry and vintage art magazines.
The artist I work with is my husband Steven Durland, who creates digital imagery from organic found objects. I have his images printed on fabric and I make them into pillows.
The jewelry is all made by me: earrings (clip-ons, but they can be converted on request), bracelets, hanging beaded ornaments and steampunk mobiles.
The vintage magazines are early copies of High Performance, an international zine about performance art that I founded in Los Angeles in 1978. In the shop I will offer issues published between 1978 and 1990. They are in pristine condition…
