Melissa McDorman's Profile

About

I established Uphill Dreams in 2004. Back then I was only selling original mixed media art and designs through my website and local art galleries. Since then I've been creating all sorts of different art. I was even a tattoo artist for a few years.

Out of all the different arts and crafts I learned to work with I fell in love with bead work. I specialize in seed beads, which are the smallest of craft beads. These beads give any project a shimmer... a statement of creativity.

The name "Uphill Dreams" came from working extremely hard at what I want in life, which is to be a jewelry designer.

I am currently enrolled in Pen Foster's jewelry design and repair certification program with an expected graduation date of March 2013.
