My wife and myself started making jewellery as a way of paying for our wedding several years ago. It had always been a hobby of hers and we were both creative and attracted to shiny things!
We finally saved enough and married in May 2012 but by this stage we enjoyed it so much we decided to do it for a living - so began our little shop.
Sineads interest in holistic jewellery and eye for colour together with my love of geology and lapidary work means that every piece we make is unique and made with love and attention.
We decided to call our business Alchemy because we felt that it is possible to make something of value out of materials commonly regarded as being cheap or even worthless.
A lot of what we make is from found shells and stones, recycled copper, brass and silver or anything else our imaginations can find a use for!
