Es (The Netherlands, 1967) began making art dolls in 2009 after her textile art & fashion design study, and her work in mental health care.
She started making fantasy dolls from polymer, followed by her skull dolls in 2010.
The latest series (2012 - now) are completely sculpted designer art dolls with their signature masks, extra long needle shaped legs, high fashion clothes, and details from 23.75 K gold leaf.
Es uses high quality materials for her dolls, like haute couture fabrics, 100% silk threads, real gold leaf, and real rough diamonds.
The dolls are sculpted from Creative paper clay.
