About

We love to create and our latest master piece is Emmett!

Welcome to our little shop!

We are collectors, if not hoarders, of many things. Everything we do is a work in progress and we thank you for any comments you may have.

I, Margarita, am a self taught seamstress of over 10 years. I grew up in a tropical climate and for 8 months of the year I always wore a school uniform, the only time I could wear different clothes was at dances, parties or holidays with garments my mother made. All change when we moved north and school didn't use a uniform and I grew heavier. Nothing fit, it was either too tight, too short, too young, too mature, too manly! I cried so much. All my high school years I wore ill fitted outfits and I have photographic proof! At a thirft store while looking for college books I found a vintage…

At a thirft store while looking for college books I found a vintage 1940's simplicity sewing how to. It open my eyes that I could alter my clothes and even make them. Why not? I fix everything in my house, from the tv to the sink. I don't like shopping for cookie cut garments, I want unique and I was going to achive it. Patterns were and still are my first learning tool and I love them! Wrinkle, ripped, moldy, water damaged, they can all be used for years to come and every piece in my colletion is loved.
After I had my first baby I focused on children clothes. Now on my third and last I'm starting to focus on my outfits again.

Every day goes by so fast for our little family and it seems there is always something new to learn.

Thank you once again for looking at our store,
